Community Events

The Garage: Music and Arts Center & 98520 Music and Arts District Initiative

Opportunity and Access to the Arts is at the heart of our mission. We host a variety of community events that are free to the public for all ages and capabilities.

Biweekly Monday nights of the Month at The Garage we host an all ages Jam starting at 7 pm.

Every First and Third Thursday of the Month we host a community Drum Circle on the center stage at the Shoppes at Riverside from 5:30 pm until 7 pm. Extra drums and hand percussion are provided for attendees who would like to participate.

The second Saturday of each month we host an all ages open mic night at Tinderbox Coffee Roasters in Aberdeen. Open Mic is family friendly and comedians, musicians and poets are encouraged to come out and share their work with us.
